Microblading uses a manual hand tool to create cuts that mimic hair strokes and are not suited for oily skin. If not implanted at the perfect depth, the strokes can migrate and create a blurry / solid effect. Nano Brows use a highly precise, advanced digital machine to tattoo ultra-fine, hyper-realistic hair strokes. Nano strokes are far gentler on the skin, cause less trauma, and deliver beautifully crisp, long-lasting healed results across all skin types, including oily and mature skin. Client comfort is an absolute priority in my studio. A highly effective, medical-grade topical anesthetic is applied before and during the procedure to completely eliminate discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a relaxing vibration, and many even fall asleep during their custom brow application.

Days 1–3: The "Bold & Dark" Phase Immediately following your appointment, your new brows will look beautifully shaped, sharp, and highly defined. Over the first few days, the pigment will temporarily oxidize, making them appear roughly 30–40% darker and bolder than your final result. This is completely normal—do not panic if they feel dramatic at first!

Days 4–7: The "Flaking & Softening" Phase As the skin begins its natural cellular turnover, your brows will experience light flaking. It is absolutely vital that you do not pick, scratch, or scrub the skin during this time, as doing so can pull pigment out prematurely. Let the flaking shed naturally to protect your results.

Days 8–14: The "Ghosting" Phase Once the flaking finishes, you may notice a phenomenon known as "ghosting." Your brows may suddenly look too light, milky, or as if the color completely disappeared. This is simply new skin growing over the fresh tattoo pigment. Over the next two weeks, as the skin tissue fully settles and matures, the color will steadily "bloom" back to the surface.

Weeks 3–6: The "Beautifully Healed" Result By week four, your brows will reveal their true, healed tone. The brows will look like natural, beautifully done makeup and seamlessly blend with your natural features. At your 8 week follow-up session, Rima will meticulously asses the healed shape, color and apply any changes you request after giving them a thorough test drive!
